Wii gets Netflix streaming, requires disc

In a not-terribly-surprising turn of events, it has been confirmed that Netflix streaming is coming to the Wii, completing the trinity of home consoles that support the service.

For many of those with an Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, this probably isn’t too exciting, given the Wii’s inability to pump out high-definition video. Americans will be able to get the disc in Spring, apparently for no additional fee beyond their existing Netflix subscriptions. Please allow me to once again express my jealousy at an unlimited, legal means of streaming television and film.

The question is, what device is next for Netflix? The PSP, perhaps? Maybe even the DS?
