Shattered Horizon system requirements will probably make you feel inadequate

Shattered Horizon Logo

Shattered Horizon is an upcoming downloadable multiplayer FPS featuring zero gravity combat from Futuremark. This makes the rather upmarket system requirements unsurprising, as Futuremark are the makers of 3DMark and PCMark, the popular benchmarking tools.

If, like almost 60% of Steam users, you don’t run a DirectX10 (or the recently-released 11) system, you’re out of luck – the game doesn’t support Windows XP or DirectX9. With the launch of Windows 7, this is likely to become an issue for less and less people, but their hardware will have to be sufficient too, with Shattered Horizon requiring at least a dual-core processor.

The release date of the game is unknown, but Futuremark took sign-ups for a closed beta earlier in the month. The full system requirements follow after the jump.
