PS1 Oddworld games coming to PSN, 4-pack for Steam

According to an interview with Lorne Lanning, co-creator of Oddworld Inhabitants, classic PS1 titles Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee and Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus are making their way to the PlayStation Network, due “very soon”. Oddysee and Exoddus are 2D platformers featuring the titular character Abe in an attempt to escape certain death and to save his people. The games are highly critically acclaimed.

The two original Oddworld titles are already available on Steam in a two-pack for just $9.99 (or, during a notable weekend deal, $3.75), but the other two games in the upcoming Oddbox 4-pack, Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee and Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath were previously Xbox-exclusive 3D action-adventures.

Having already purchased the first two on Steam, I can only hope that the 3D titles are released separately and/or as a 3D package. If so…definite sale.
